You must have heard about the Free Silai Machine Yojana, this scheme is now becoming very popular for women, under this scheme, women get 15000 rupees and now applications have started under this scheme and the men and women applying under this scheme will also be given free training by the government, that is, they will be given training to operate the machine and do sewing.
The Honorable Prime Minister has started a free sewing machine scheme. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. Under this scheme, now the woman or man applying as a tailor will be given a 5-day training course and then ₹ 15000 will be given for the tool kit or to buy the machine.
Now many people want to apply in the name of Free Sewing Machine Scheme, but there is no scheme related to Free Sewing Machine Scheme in the application, so if you are not able to get the application done at the nearest Jan Seva Kendra, then now you can apply in PM Vishwakarma Yojana and get ₹ 15000 for free sewing machine.
Silai Machine Yojana 2025 Eligibility
- PM Vishwakarma Yojana People working in 18 types of fields can apply which also includes tailors,
- The applicant should either be from a tailor family or is working as a tailor or is learning tailoring or a family that wants to work as a tailor in future can apply.
- Housewife women can apply in this scheme but for this they will have to get a certificate of being a tailor at the village level.
- It is necessary to get a certificate certified by the village head stating that the person is a tailor or is learning tailoring or wants to become a tailor.
- Any person above 18 years of age can apply, women can also apply,
- Income certificate and bank account details are required in the form,
- A certificate of being a tailor is required at the village headman or panchayat level.

for this you should get a certificate of being a tailor at your Gram Panchayat and then apply.
PM Vishwakarma Silai Machine Yojana Registration
- Visit the Prime Minister Vishwakarma Portal,
- To apply, click on the registration option on the home page.
- Choose from 18 different categories with tailor made options,
- Select the Tailor option and fill in all the basic details after verifying with Aadhaar.
- Add tailor certificate in form and add aadhar or all certificate,
- Housewife women can get the benefit of this scheme but for this they will need a certificate of being a tailor,
- Enter all the female and male certificates and submit the application form.
- If the person applying under this scheme needs money to further his work, then he can get Vishwakarma Yojana loan, the interest of which will be very low,
- But if you do not want a loan and only want the machine and need ₹15000 then complete the process and submit the form.
- You can get this application done through the nearest Jan Sabha Kendra or CSC Center, for this you have to go to the Jan Seva Kendra and say that I want to apply for the post of tailor under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana
Silai Machine Training Process
Under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, by applying as a tailor, you will get ₹15000 for a sewing machine. The government will provide 5 days training to learn sewing. This training will be given at your tehsil level in the nearest city which will be informed to you. You can take this training for free in 5 days. After receiving the training, the government will give you ₹15000 for the tool or for the sewing machine.
The training process will be given in Skill India Training Center which will be told to you, you can complete this training as per your wish, if you do not want to complete the training then you can compromise.
